Okay, okay, okay…. I’ve deemed 2013 the novel-writing year. I’ve been planning the damn thing for what now seems forever – well only a year – but I think this will do – and now I think fuck it, it’s time to slouch atop a big bottomed-sized thesaurus and get on writing the beast. The aim is a first draft by the end of the year. My characters are at the starting line, the plot almost….
So what’s this all about then? A place to vent my backed-up frustrations and share my ideas and thoughts, and a space to understand my characters and play with dialogue as I bravely climb the mountain that is FOUR GIGS – and, unless you hadn’t already guessed, that is the name of the novel.
Anyway, a very good evening to you – I wrote this scoffing homemade tarragon chicken casserole – my name is Sadie Hanson, that’s my catchy-catchy author’s moniker, not my real name which is a little more conservative and a tad uncooler.
What else is there to say? Let the fireworks commence!

Damn. I’ve spent the last couple of years thinking that Sadie Hanson is the coolest name ever. Which is still is, but I hadn’t realised that it wasn’t really real. You’re off to a good start with that though! Can’t wait to hear how you get on with the novel. Yippee! xx
